Speed Touch Configuration

Steps to configure ADSL connection on SpeedTouch Router 546i -580i -585i

First connect the Modem to a 220v socket..	1
Connect the provided telephone cable between the telephone line (ADSL service) and the modem.	2
If there is a green LED active and constant next to the word DSL, then the service is working on the telephone line.	3
Then connect the provided network cable between the modem and the computer. Make sure you have a network card on the computer	4
Open the program “Internet Explorer -Then from the program Menu choose “Tools” >> “Internet Options -Click on the tab “Connections”. -Choose the option that says “Never Dial a Connection”. -On the same tab click on the button “LAN Settings“ -Make sure all the fields are blank and the check boxes are all unchecked. -Then click on “OK”, and the next windows click “OK” as well.	5
